By accessing and using the website at ldeinknotary.com or by booking and using the mobile notary services provided by LDE Ink Notary Services LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
 
These Terms of Use were last updated in May 2026. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
 
Our Services 
LDE Ink Notary Services LLC provides professional mobile notary services including but not limited to:
 

1. General notarizations

2. Loan signings and mortgage document notarization

3. Apostille and document authentication services

4. Estate planning document notarization

5. Hospital and healthcare facility notary services

6. Jail and detention center notary services

7. Certified document translation coordination and notarization

  
All services are subject to availability and the requirements of California notary law. LDE Ink Notary Services LLC reserves the right to decline any notarization request that does not comply with California law or our professional standards.
 
No Legal Advice Provided 
LDE Ink Notary Services LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on our website or in the course of providing notary services should be construed as legal advice.
 
We can explain where to sign and initial on documents but we cannot explain the legal or financial terms of any document, advise you on whether a document is legally sufficient for your purposes or recommend specific legal actions.
 
For legal advice, please consult a licensed attorney. For questions about your loan documents, please contact your lender. For questions about estate planning documents, please contact your estate planning attorney.
 
Appointment Policies 
Booking:

Appointments can be booked online, by phone or by email. All appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by LDE Ink Notary Services LLC.
 
Cancellation Policy 
We ask for at least 2 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows may be charged the full service fee.
 
Jail and Detention Center Appointments 

The $150 fee covers the visit, travel and one notarized signature, for up to one hour on site. Each additional signature is $15. If the visit runs beyond one hour due to facility delays such as a lockdown or scheduling holds, additional time is billed at $25 per hour. The $150 applies once we arrive at the facility, including if the signing is not completed. For incarcerated signers, identity is established using valid government-issued photo identification where available, or any form of inmate identification issued by the sheriff's department, as permitted under California law.

Payment is due after the appointment is confirmed and before the scheduled appointment time.
 
What to Have Ready 
All signers must be present at the appointment with valid unexpired government-issued photo identification. Documents must not be signed before the notary arrives as California law requires the notary to witness the actual signing. For signings at jails and detention facilities, see the Jail and Detention Center Appointments section for identification requirements.
 
Right to Decline Service
LDE Ink Notary Services LLC reserves the right to decline or discontinue any notarization if:

1. The signer does not have acceptable identification

2. The document is incomplete or illegible

3. The signer appears to be under duress or does not understand what they are signing

4. The notarization would violate California law or our professional standards

  
Fees and Payment 
Notary Fees:

California law sets the maximum notary fee at $15 per notarized signature under Government Code Section 8211. Specialty services are priced as follows:
 

1. General Notarization: $15 per signature plus travel fee

2. Apostille Services: $200 for the first document and $100 for each additional document in the same order

3. Estate Planning Documents: contact us for a quote

4. Hospital Signing: starting at $75 plus travel fee

5. Jail and Detention Center Signing: $150 covering the visit, travel and one signature, up to one hour on site. $15 per additional signature. $25 per hour beyond the first hour if delayed by the facility.

6. Loan Signings: contact us for a quote

7. Translation and Notarization: contact us for a quote

  
Travel Fees 
Travel fees apply for all mobile notary services and vary based on location and distance. Travel fees will be disclosed before your appointment is confirmed.
 
Payment Methods 
We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal and major credit cards.
 
Returned Payments 
In the event of a returned check or failed payment, the client will be responsible for the original service fee plus any applicable returned payment fees.
 
Website Use 
Permitted Use:

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use our website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
 
Prohibited Activities 
You agree not to:

1. Use our website for any unlawful purpose

2. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website or systems

3. Copy, reproduce or distribute our website content without permission

4. Use our website to transmit harmful, offensive or misleading content

5. Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of our website

  
Intellectual Property

Disclaimer of Warranties 
Our website and services are provided on an as is and as available basis without any warranties of any kind either express or implied. LDE Ink Notary Services LLC does not warrant that:
 

1. Our website will be uninterrupted or error-free

2. Any information on our website is complete, accurate or current

3. Our website is free from viruses or other harmful components

  
We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any information on our website and reserve the right to make changes at any time without notice.
 
Limitation of Liability 
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, LDE Ink Notary Services LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services.
 
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
 
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct.
 
Indemnification 
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LDE Ink Notary Services LLC and its owner, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses and expenses including reasonable attorney fees arising from:
 

1. Your use of our website or services

2. Your violation of these Terms of Use

3. Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

4. Any incorrect or incomplete information you provide to us

  
Governing Law 
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Contra Costa County, California.
 
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
